Abstract

Background: Cardiovascular disease comprises CAD such as angina, myocardial infarction, stroke, heart failure, hypertensive heart disease, cardiomyopathy, heart arrhythmia, congenital heart disease, aortic aneurysms, peripheral artery disease, and thromboembolic disease. High blood pressure caused in 13% of CVD deaths, while tobacco results in 9%, diabetes 6%, lack of exercise 6% and obesity 5%.

Methods: This study included 411 cases who were diabetic & non diabetic. This study conducted in the Department of Medicine. Results: The findings show a strong evidence of associations between type 2 diabetes and 12 specific cardiovascular disease outcomes differ in terms of direction and magnitude of effects.

Conclusions: Our findings indicate the risks of incident peripheral arterial disease, heart failure, and stable angina in people with type 2 diabetes, that vary in preventive strategies and that often are poorly characterized in the primary endpoint of randomized trials.
